FAQ

How much do you charge?

As everyone's wedding is different and I only have a few set packages and a bespoke service. Sometimes you may only be looking for a few hours coverage and after listening to your requirements I can give you a bespoke quotation based on your needs.  I have an hourly rate then albums, coffee table books, DVD's and framed prints are priced separately. There is more information on pricing here

How far do you travel?

I travel all over the country and further afield, depending on the couple's requirements. If your wedding is further than 50 miles out of Leeds in any direction then there is likely to be a small extra charge for traveling expenses - and if you require me to photograph your wedding abroad, then I will need to have travel and accommodation expenses covered. I have been lucky enough to photograph weddings in Europe and the Caribbean too!

When is it best to book?

It's always best to book early as popular dates do get reserved well in advance. However, it's always worth a quick email or call as sometimes we have availability and can book a wedding as near as 2 weeks away!

How do I book?

The best thing to do is arrange to come and see me for a consultation - or I can come out and meet you. From then if you like my work and want me to be your photographer a deposit will be required to reserve the date. This is usually £150.00

How long does it take for my images to be ready after the wedding?

Usually images are ready to view when you get back from honeymoon. if you aren't going away until a later date then your images are usually ready to view about a week after your wedding day. Once you have chosen your images for your album or book, a design is made, if you approve the draft then production of your bespoke book or album takes about 6 weeks.

Can I have a disc of images?

Of course - if this is what you prefer then a disc will be supplied (costs vary) with full hi-res ready to print files as well as those that you are able to use on social media such as facebook.

How many photographers will be at my wedding?

Usually only me - I will quite often bring along a helper with me though - someone to help with bags, organisation and general stuff!

Have you photographed a wedding at my venue before?

I have shot weddings at several different places over the years covering a wide area, however, it's always exciting shooting somewhere new and I will always do lots of research on the venue before hand so you don't need to worry! I have listed below a few venues that we have covered weddings at - it's not all of them but it will give you a good idea:

Rudding Park Hotel, Hazlewood Castle, Middlethorpe Hall, Hollins Hall, Cedar Court Hotel, Yorebridge House, Waterton Park Hotel, Chevin Lodge, Simonstone Hall, The Hospitium York, Carlton Towers, Dimple Wells Lodge, Gomersal Park Hotel, Devonshire Arms, Weetwood Hall, Kings Croft Hotel, Temple Newsam, Anthony's at the Corn Exchange, The Ashes, Whoop Hall, Skipton Church, Leeds Town Hall, The Dower House, The Black Horse Inn CliftonWhite Hart Hotel, Dominican Republic, and Lisbon.
